You are absolutely right! There is a brand new casino opening off the i-94 in Jamul, CA in 2008. We'll be adding a listing for it very soon.

The Kumeyaay has partnered with Lakes Entertainment to build Jamul Indian Village Casino opening in 2008. Not sure the exact location but the press release says it's 20 minutes from downtown San Diego off the I-94.

As far as a new casino between LA and San Diego off the I-5, do you mean Santa Ysabel Resort and Casino? It opened in March, we just added a listing:
