Santa Ysabel Resort and Casino,  Wednesday, 02 January 2008 This was my second visit to the Casino. I was there on openning night therefore due the crowd it was not fair to leave my comments. I visited the Santa Ysabel Casino right before Christmas 2007. Plenty of parking. The Casino is small (349 slots) however there was a variety of slots including a number of penny slots which many Casinos are elimating at this time and which I like to play. The staff was pleasant and answered questions. The slot playback was good. It was during the week so it was not crowded and there was only two tour buses in the parking lot. The casino and the restrooms were very clean. The resturant overlooks a lake. I did not eat there but my son and his family had a meal in the resturant in August and they indicated the food was very good. I did not notice any slots that were not operational. The casino is located right off the Highway. If you are already visiting Dudley's Bakery or Julian, the Casino is approximately 3 or 4 miles north of the Bakery. Although I did not use some of the facilities I left a rating as it was the only way I could leave my comments regarding this casino therefore it does not reflect my actual use of the table games, promotions, players club, or the resturant.
